this was the best scene ever… of all time
I need this in my life at all times.
The food would stay fresher if it were still growing…
Park Supermarket // van Bergen Kolpa Architecten
“Rotterdam-based Van Bergen Kolpa Architecten has plans to build aPark Supermarket on 4,000 acres of agrarian land in Randstad, Holland’s largest metropolitan region (consisting of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, and Utrecht). As the name suggests, Park Supermarket would stock everything you’d find in a typical grocery store, except that instead of plucking your assorted vegetables and rice off a shelf, you’d get them fresh out of the ground. “People buy (and recreate and consume and learn) where the food is produced,” Jago van Bergen tells Co.Design in an email. The park would include everything from Pandan-en Risotto grown on water terraces to Tilapia farmed in man-made basins to kiwis and avocado raised on vertical walls.”
Might this be the new-New Urbanism? I will be following up on this project and other similar ideas.
Shutup and take my money!
This man has been one of my biggest inspirations since I can remember. Even when I was 4 and barely understood what actors were, I always recognised him and would point at the TV and say ‘there’s the funny man’. They think that his death may have been suicide which makes it even sadder because he was always portraying funny characters with so much wit and happiness yet he is so sad that he would take his own life. People glamorize Hollywood lifestyles and fame yet it really takes a toll on some of the grandest people to ever walk the earth. He kept his spark of madness right up until the end. The best thing about actors is that they live on through their characters. They never truly leave us.
Genie, you’re free
"You’re only given one little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it." -Robin Williams
RIP Robin Williams. I loved my childhood because of you.
